Sub-catchment (Delvandopland)
A sub-catchment is part of a catchment to which nitrogen reduction requirements are allocated.
According to SGAV (the Danish Agency for Green Transition and Aquatic Environment), the reduction requirements under Vandplan 3-II (Water Plan 3-II) are allocated across 108 sub-catchments, grouped into 37 hydrological coastal water groups. A nitrogen reduction wetland must be located in a sub-catchment with a reduction requirement.
