Chairing municipality (Formandskommune)

The chairing municipality leads the work of a local Green Tripartite (Grøn Trepart) and ensures progress.

The municipalities in each local tripartite partnership appoint a chairing municipality and a chair who is a local elected representative. The chairing municipality may also be the municipality providing the secretariat. In some tripartite partnerships, the role rotates among the municipalities in the catchment area.
