Forest preservation obligation (Fredskovspligt)

A forest preservation obligation is a restriction under the Danish Forest Act requiring an area of land to remain forest.

SGAV's (Danish Agency for Green Transition and Aquatic Environment) afforestation grant scheme requires the land to be made subject to a forest preservation obligation.
