Environmental GIS (MiljøGIS)
MiljøGIS is the mapping system of Miljøministeriet (the Danish Ministry of Environment), used, for example, to draw area boundaries when applying for grants for privately owned untouched forest.
In the 2026 application round for privately owned untouched forest, area boundaries had to be drawn in MiljøGIS. GIS files could no longer be sent by email.
