Land-use conversion plan (Omlægningsplan)

A land-use conversion plan shows how a local Green Tripartite (Grøn Trepart) will meet its share of the required nitrogen reduction and the lowland target through land-use conversion.

The plans cover taking carbon-rich lowland soils out of production, wetlands, afforestation, extensification and other land-based measures. The 23 plans were prepared in 2025 and adopted in principle by the municipal councils for the areas within their own municipalities.

The plans are prepared and monitored in MARS.
