Professional verification: when AI suggests and the specialist decides

Updated

Reviewing hundreds of drone photos takes time. AI can suggest what an image shows, but a specialist must take responsibility for the conclusion used in documentation.

AI suggestions

An image model can suggest whether a point shows, for example, vegetation along a watercourse, wet ground or a change in land use. The suggestion saves time but may be wrong.

The specialist decides

Each point must be confirmed or rejected by a named specialist, with a brief explanation. This is the assessment included in the report.

Log everything

Both the suggestion and the decision are logged in the audit trail with a timestamp. This makes it possible to see later who reached which conclusion and on what basis.

When AI fails

If the model does not provide a usable answer, this must be made clear. In such cases, Freyra displays a previously saved assessment, clearly labelled, or marks the point as awaiting assessment.

Frequently asked questions
